Big Sam f***s it up for West Ham vs Spurs and for Arsenal

By the Coach

OK I am not obviously a West ham supporter but as you can imagine I was tonight.

Big Sam’s tactics reverted to the old Bolton way of playing. And they proved very appropriate as Spurs found it very difficult to counter the long balls and Carrol’s aggressiveness in the air.

To be fair West Ham played good football when possession was gained in the Spurs half with good passing and movement. And the second goal by Cole was the one that gave us Gooners hope.

But no big Sam had to go and change a winning team.

His substitutions were the ones that gave the game to Spurs. And what I mean is that by withdrawing Diame for Taylor he gave away the space in midfield for Bale to receive the ball, turn and unleash the winner.

The other unforced substitution was totally uncalled for and proved suicidal. Poor Pogatez was out of his depth. He was never in the game, was too slow and not up to speed.

Lennon ran rings round him and he gave fouls away to stop the Spurs winger. And that’s how they got their equaliser.

Thanks Big Sam. Thanks a lot….

  1. Listen look at the chances....3 for Caulker, 2 for Adebayor, Sigurdsson hit the post, Bale had 4 efforts saved and they were all before the save.

Spurs deserved it if you look at the overall game.....it was just the way it was won that was harsh.

The NLD is going to be horrible I think we all know that its vital Diaby plays because Bale will destroy Arteta

  4. 8-3 to Tottenham would have been a fair result. The only way West Ham could win was to play route 1 and due to some great goalkeeping, poor finishing and loads of luck they nearly did it. That Bales, he's so overrated.

  5. Correction taylor was on as sub for nolan who went off injured in first half

  8. You gooners are running scared that you are resorting to writing articles minutes after our game has finished .... Bale's going to tear you lot a new one on Sunday, just you watch!

  9. Come on gooners. It's easy to blame the teams that you rely on to do you a favour. You should be blaming the Arse'n'all for not delivering your results not the Hammers or Big Sam!

Good game tonight for us neutrals!

  10. Bale vs. Mertesacker
    Sounds good right...

  11. As a spurs fan great result.....however still remember Martin Fulop as a clown who gifted you guys a 3-2 win on the last day of season. The Arse with Van P stole loads of points last season
A big bag of lemons on the way

  13. I thought the spammers played really well tonight but if it werent for there keeper spurs would have won by more, Bale is carrying us but im happy for that to happen, hopefully come the summer Harry will take ade off our hands and we get a few reinforcements up front.....but Ade will have his last effort in a spurs shirt saved for next weekend!!! coys!!!

  19. This was not in the script and Sams trip to Dubai Wenger loaning Chamack. This was suppose to be where we let Arsenal overtake us and it backfired. We still have Kaboul Defoe Hudds to come back

  20. so in their last 3 games -
an injury time winner v Lyon at home -
an injury time equaliser v Lyon away
an injury time winner v West ham.

    Luck stops on sunday!
EASY Arsenal win against the one-man team!

sorry, but I think even if you beat us on Sunday (and that is highly unlikely) we will still be a point above you!

  25. Easy tactics this weekend. Start diaby and take bale out of the game. Without him our ugly littlebrother is nothing! COYG!!

  26. Bitter & pathetic. the 1919 cheats still have not yet learnt grace.

Bale is playing as a second striker and hence the goals.
It seems okay when anyone else does that as a striker but WTF?

As for a one man team....you lost RVP but the other"one man" Wilshere is back.

I just wish that you lot would grow up one day. No wonder Wenger is such a poor loser with you lot backing him.

BTW a heartfelt "thank You" to the few AFC posters honest enough to be fair.
The NL derby? Who knows? As league position seems to mean little re the result.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I love all this "one man team" stuff.

We were a one man team when we had Carrick, then Berbatov, then Modric and now Bale...

Each season we improve but each season we seem to only have "one man"!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Come now!!!

Only THFC are a "one man"team as no one else can be even when RVP carried AFC last season just like he is carrying MU this season.

I always try to be fair to the poor 1919 cheaters but I guess inherent dishonesty always shows going by their posts. Even when we were relegated we still had more class and knew HOW to play football which AFC have only discovered under Wenger.

  29. One man team barcelona? No didn't think so. Arsenal fans jealous and scared pure and simple. Hate the shoe being on the other foot. Lucky? Did any of those late goals look lucky? Looked pretty damn good to me. We are arsenal's worst NIGHTMARE

    ReplyDelete
  30. Cant wait to see bale running mertesacker and arteta.....if arsenal cant handle villas Counterattack how will they cope against spurs? The only hope they have is for spurs to get a player sent off early. And i cant see that happening after last time. Cant wait for this game

    ReplyDelete
  31. That is the writing of a scared Gooner. The Gooners are struggling and looking for other teams to keep them in the hunt. Years ago you guy's would be saying 'we don't worry about how Tottenham are playing we need to just carry on as we are and forget about Tottenham' or you used to say 'Chelsea are our main opposition out of your pure hatred of Tottenham. Nowadays however, you are slagging off Managers like 'Big Sam' because he didn't do you a favour. PATHETIC

    ReplyDelete
  32. You didnt even list the substitutions correctly you k**b, Taylor came on for the injured nolan, not diame.....do you know anything about anything?!

    ReplyDelete
  33. Yes I agree, that's something I've mentioned before. How many times have the goners (no mistake) said to us "we're not interested in you lot you're nowhere near us, we're more focused on challenging for the title. Spurs mean nothing to us anymore, they're no longer an interest to us". Eat your stinking words! All you talk about and post are Spurs related comments and articles. You wish you were Spurs really and every now and then you put on your Spurs kit when no-ones looking!

  34. West ham fans singing 'gareth bale he looks like a chimp' are spurs fans allowed to sing that about Walcott or sagna?!

  37. I've been a gooner 35 years and I was DELIGHTED that spurs won frankly. The sooner we drop out of the top four so that lame-ass Wenger gets the boot the better! Hopefully we'll finish 6th even if we are lucky. F*ck Wenger and f*ck all of you pussy AKB's.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I think that THFC are a better side than AFC currently as the latter now seem to have inherited our inconsistency.
But considering that only Bale is scoring and he is always vulnerable to oil money based lunatic bids from cheat clubs, I will be much happeier when we have areal cetre forward who actually scores. keep bale and then see what AFC do with the fabulous 123 Million war chest.

The problem with AGFC is that they have been spoilt (both board and supporters) by Wenger who refuses to be blackmailed and to overspend.
I rememeber the pitiful football played by AFC for some 70 years (despite a brief blip in the 60s) until Wenmger came and most AFC fans have NO IDEA of the trassh that wa stheir style even when they won. "0-1 to the gooners" was no mistake as a catchcry and ten men behind the ball with arms raised by the back four and long ball was their bread and butter.
