There has been concern about Robin Van Persie’s fitness after he was substituted on the 65th minute during Holland’s game against Scotland.
Van Persie scored a headed goal from a corner when he made a run into the six yard box without anybody picking him up.
He was also ready to head Holland’s first goal but his team mate Huntelaar got there just before him. So terrible was the defending from the Scots that Holland’s coach Bert van Marwijk said:
"3-0 is a good result in an international match. Scotland created only one chance, so we did a good job. However, our start wasn't good enough and Scotland defended good in the beginning”
Van Persie’s injury does not look that worrying as it was a clash on the head as he went up to meet a deep cross. He was able to walk off unaided afterwards as you will see from the video above.
