Dont be so stingy Arsenal. Pay the money for Aubameyang

By 1970's Gooner

Its the same every time. Arsenal trying to squeeze even the last penny out of a deal. Trying to get the player on the cheap when it is obvious that the valuation Dortmund placed on Aubameyang is about right considering todays market place.

We have already placed a bid for 50m or so, so we are not far away anyway. And we DO NEED to strengthen following Sanchez's departure AND WE DO HAVE AROUND 250M CASH SITTING IN THE BANK.

For crying out loud PAY THE MONEY AND BE DONE WITH IT

You are the real idiot. We are in need of a striker cum winger as we lost sanchez and walcott. We signed mkhi but lost two. Transfer window is about to close. If we cant match the valuation of auba we have to look for an alternative. But we are in slow pace. Only auba is our attacking target. So we have to sign him irrespect of the value

If what you say is correct then why are Arsenal bidding way over your valuation at 53m?

And why are Arsenal trying to get a player who according to you will be worthless in a couple of seasons?

And a player who is same age as Sanchez who Arsenal so desperately wanted to keep and offered him a 4 year contract at 100000 a week more than they offered Aubameyang.

It seems you should be calling idiotd the Arsenal hierarchy mate!

Aubamayang has about 4 years at the top level. He is a proven goalscorer. How can Arsenal/Wenger/Gazidis put the deal at risk over a small amount of money. I can tell you...profit. Walcott and Coquelin have brought in £30,000,000. Sanchez and Mkhitaryan equalise. That's £30 million profit. If you don't understand why Kroenke needs it you need to study his financial needs in the USA. Wenger is a weak pawn in Kroenke's empire. We chose the American. We should have backed Usmanov. What a mistake. No Aubamayang lads.

Come on guys, let's not pretend that Walcott leaving is any kind of a loss.

We are never so desperate for a player that we should automatically pay whatever another club asks. This is real life and real money, not fantasy football or football manager. The club has to consider whether a deal is value for money.

As for backing Usmanov... get a grip!

Why the obsession with Aubameyang anyway? If it came to a straight choice, we should sign Jonny Evans (or similar) rather than overspend on Aubameyang. We're much more need of back up for Kos/Mustafi/Nacho than we are in need of backup for Laca/Giroud/Welbeck (in both position we have 3 clear first choices, but in the defensive position we play all 3 at one time)

Arsenal need to replace Walcott and Coquelin. They are slow in negotiations.
