By 1970’s Gooner
I call it as I see it and Arsene Wenger made one of
the most horrendous decisions he will ever make.
We had just equalised after raising our game and
peppering the United defence with some strong pressure in the second half. The
young Ox had a terrific game. He was the only Arsenal player who was putting a
good day’s shift.
He was running the United defence rugged. He was
tackling them like our defenders should have been tackling and running at their
defenders head on. Most of the rest of the Arsenal players were really awful.
Song was nowhere his normal game. Ramsey was nowhere full stop.
Djourou was the weakest link. He should never play in
the right back position again. Better to play the young boy Yennaris who
actually did pretty well.
It was the moment we gained momentum. We could have
gone on and won the game. RVP had just equalised after a wonderful pass from
the Ox but what does Mr Wenger do? He takes the young boy off! And to compound
the mistake he brings the idiot Arshavin on.
In other words he not only took our most influential
player off but he brought on someone who could not defend . Lo and behold Valencia
goes past him as though he wasn’t there and we are 2-1 down and out!
If we don’t finish fourth then Arsene Wenger will know
why. And he should a take a good look at himself and ask:
Have I got any more to give to this club?

He absolutely has no more to give this club.
This insanity has to stop!
Wenger should ask "Have I got any more to give this club?" I can answer that for him. No....No he has not got anything to give to this club except failure and more misery.
Arsenal don't exist to win trophies. They exist to make a profit. Arsene is doing his job perfectly and will thus remain as long as he pleases.
Who cares about the silly fans?
Just so you know: it's 'lose' and not 'loose'
Ha ha ha Wenger didn't lose us the game! We were lucky to only lose by one!
walcott should have been taken off not chamberlain. he was our most dangerous player. insane decision by wenger.
It is "lose" and not "loose"

peppering the United goa???--United take their chances and it could have been another 8 --you're just not good enough fellas!
Anyone who thinks Arshavin was to blame for United's second goal, needs to watch the television on mute, as you are clearly far to easily influenced by the anti-arshavin propaganda machine. There were five or six other Arsenal players in the box who didn't look like making a tackle or making loose players. Arshavin actually tracked his man all the way and stopped him scoring. The substitution was appalling - fact - but only because of who came off...should have been Walcott, Ramsey or Song.
just watched it again--it could have been at least 6-3 United
3 things I have concluded and I believe strongly in my heart that one or a combination or all are true.
1. Wenger is Secret Gambler (He should be investigated)
2. Wenger is Insane (He should be made to undergo a series of mental test)
3. Either Wenger or Wenger and the board are involved in Match Fixing (They should be investigated)
Enough said!
Arshavin should sue Gary Neville for slander.
i have never criticized wenger, especially not when i do not have the kind of coaching and tactical experience as wenger. but his substitution today did cost us the game. i say this confidently because as an amateur player myself, it's very obvious arsenal was on the ascendency 10 min before the goal, and should continue to keep pressurizing man u to make the mistakes they recently did against weaker opposition. i wont specifically point out if arshavin is at fault for the 2nd man u goal, but arsenal's rhythm was interrupted. we also do not have experienced full backs covering valencia and nani. its no wonder man u exploited this weakness from the beginning. djourou might be able to handle lesser wingers, but not nani and valencia, or lennon etc ... thats where we lost the game. i still feel we should have got a full back in on loan at least on the 1st jan, but what do i know ...
I have along maintain my stance since 2007-08 that as long as Wenger is in charge,Arsenal will never win another trophy. He is fast dragging Arsenal down to mediocre status and the sooner he goes the better.
Oxlade-Chamberlain was tired and recovering from sickness - lasting the entire 90 might have been too much to ask, and since before the match started Wenger made it clear that Arshavin would be coming on, so that Arsenal could benefit from Oxlade-Chamberlain's creativity and pace before letting Arshavin close out the match with some holding play. Despite Arshavin's mistake, I do think that Oxlade-chamberlain coming off would have happened no matter what, instead of running a recovering player ragged and jeopardizing his excellent form. Personally, I found Walcott's performance to be the most lackluster on the pitch.
High time for Wenger to go, we've won a single trophy for the last 6 years and not a single Champion Legaue trophy since 1996 when he was appointed as Manager.
Wenger is only a mediocre manager and we need a champion manager (one that Champion League medal) to bring us to next level
Arsenal need overhaul, including the board and owner as well. we are second to none but lead by useless group of people
There are many top class managers out of work and at clubs. No one is indispensable even Fergie. The moment the red faced fails to win matches and trophies he will pay the price.Believe me. In contrast Wenger is leading a charmed life and seems to be immune from the sack
That could change this season. If the gunners fail to clinch the cl berth,i believe,he will have to pay the price.
No more extension. He has been given so much time and options to improve the gunners. He has this belief his philosophy will work .Frankly they haven't worked and he refused to countencnce change. If he had engaged a defnced coach, the defence perhaps could have improved and not be so vulnerable.
Come May if the gunners finish fifth or even eighth,he should go or be fired.

For those of you backing up Wengers illness statement.
Apparently that says they asked Ox if he was sick and he said no.
Make of it what you will :)
