Blackburn extend Domovchivski’s trial period

By Aries

Valery Domovchivski has been undergoing a trial at Blackburn Rovers this week and his club Levski Sofia have been very upbeat about his transfer to Ewood Park. They said that his transfer was already agreed along with the transfer fee and that his visit to Blackburn was to allow Valery to negotiate personal terms.

Todor Batkov, owner of Levski, said he had reached an agreement with the management of FC Blackburn.

"Valeri is not going to England for tests. He will rather get acquainted with the conditions and the players and will try to negotiate his conditions with the management of the club. " Mr. Batkov said.

However the official Levski site has today issued a statement saying that they had agreed to Blackburn’s request to extend the trial period by another week.

“Upon a request of english club Blackburn Rovers, Levski striker Valery Domovchivski will extend his stay there for one more week. The management of levski has given its consent".

It is understood that Mark Hughes wants to have a better look at the player and have a more informed judgement about the player’s qualities.

The transfer price is believed to be 1.5 million pounds.... if it actually happens.
