Diarra was fantastic in the first half today! Don't think 6 is a fair score for him, should have at least 7, maybe 8!

i agree diarra is a 7

Diarra was an 7 in the first half and a 5 in the second. Average 6. I think overall right!

Villa battled hard today, but at times arsenal's football was beautiful. I am a seaseon ticket holder at the villa with my 3 boys and we still enjoyed the game despite the loss.
Playing anyone but Arsenal and maybe Man u I think we would have won today. Congrats.

I don't understand why Almunia gets an 8, plz explain. All I know is that he made some saves that he was supposed to save as a keeper for Arsenal, he did not special.

I was impressed with Villa. Very strong and direct. Carew's aerial and other attributes are exploited to the full. I think you will be a top 6 finish easily.

Got alot of time for 81Villa, nice one mate. Agree about Hleb being man of the match. I think he is absolute class! He is brilliant to watch, and in my opinion has been our best player so far this season, followed very closely by Cesc! Love it!

I tend to agree with the top 6 finish for Villa, but we have played all of the big 4 at home now and I believe Arsenal will finish easily top of that 6 this year. By far the best team we have seen at Villa Park. (Probably for years)

Almunia was authoritative and very calm. He didn't have to make diffficult saves but what he did have to do he did well especially on high balls.

Thanks for your kind words. Lets hope you are right. If fabregas and Hleb to stay fit then it will be our year!

Diarra was amazing! 6 out of 10??
You know nothing about football!

Diarra was everywhere for 1st half, not so much second, but he was very commited. 6/10 is not just

Diarra is an 8 for this match, 9 for the first half, 7 for the second, full stop.

Next, on to the Toon on Wed and to witness the sacking Fat Sam on Thurs!

no way 8 for diarra. he was way off the mark with poor passing that almost cost us, although he did brilliantly too at time. 6.5 would be just fine.

Flamini was no way a 9

Flamini was magnificent from start to finish. As usual... this type of player doesn't grab the headlines.

flamini was poor. diarra was the differnece in midfield. hleb was brilliant. but so was ashley young and john carew

Hleb was out of this world.
Flamini was superb.
Diara was very good and can only get better.
Ade's contribution is often understated.
